Nas was on a Chicago radio show promoting his new CD, Hip Hop is Dead, when the interviewer asked him whether or not he punched his baby mama Carmen in the face during sex like she claims in her book. Nas tries to dismiss the question, claiming he hasn't read the book, doesn't intend too, and said he never speaks to Carmen, even regarding their daughter Destiny. He said all that was handled through assistants. Why Carmen call the show and say not only has Nas read the book, but he helped her outline the chapters?! LAUGH FACTORY BANS DAMON WAYANS: Comedian used N-word after Kramer incident led to its removal from the premises.
Looks like Damon Wayans has become the first casualty of the Laugh Factory’s newly-instituted N-word free zone. The comedian used the term 16 times during his 20-minute set Sunday night and was promptly banned from performing at the venue for the next three months, reports the LA Times. Wayans’ act referred to the racist rant of “Seinfeld” star Michael Richards that caused the N-word ban to be instituted. "I'll be damned if the white man uses that word last. …This is part of our culture now...don't take that from us," Wayans told the audience. The actor was also fined $320 for his routine - $20 for each time he used the word.

SERENA’S PIT BULL BITES SECURITY GUARD: Tennis star initially tried to say the dog wasn’t hers.
A pit bull registered to Serena Williams showed its true colors at her Palm Beach Gardens, Florida home last week and bit a security guard in the buttocks. According to the Associated Press, the 5-year-old tan pit bull named Bambi and a white Maltese were roaming around unsupervised Friday night at a guardhouse near her home when Bambi suddenly nipped at the guard's buttocks, reports AP. The guard escaped without injury because his wallet sat in the way of Bambi’s teeth. According to a Palm Beach Gardens Police incident report, Williams told police the Maltese was hers, but not the pit bull, and she was simply watching Bambi for a friend. She told police that both dogs got loose after she let them out. Beyonce has officially denied rumors that boyfriend, Jay-Z cheated on her with pop star Rihanna.
"When things are not true, you don't really think about it," said Beyonce in the January issue of Seventeen magazine. "You're not scared of it, because it's not true." "It's amazing-- when you're a new artist [like Rihanna], people are curious," says Beyonce told the interviewer. "That just comes with being a beautiful girl and a celebrity. People just try to link you up with everybody."
In related news, Beyonce will headline the 2007 Essence Music Festival. Next year's festival will be held in New Orleans for the first time since Hurricane Katrina, which displaced the festival temporarily to Houston.

Eddie Murphy Questions Paternity of Mel B's Baby
Eddie Murphy is questioning whether he is the father of the unborn child that former girlfriend and ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown is reportedly carrying. "We're not together anymore," says Murphy, 45, "And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."

A recent incident in Atlanta involving Young Buck has prompted one of the city's radio stations to blacklist the Tennessee rapper from ever being played again. On Sunday (November 26) Young Buck (born David Darnell Brown) performed in Atlanta's Club Nocturnal. After his performance, Buck announced he had some business to handle with Hot 107.9 DJ Will, who was deejaying prior to Buck hitting the stage. Apparently, Buck did not take kindly to Will's decision to play The Game's single "It's Ok (One Blood)" earlier that night, so he headed to the booth and reportedly grabbed DJ Will by his shirt. Although DJ Will stood up for himself, he was outnumbered by members of Buck's entourage who jumped in. As a result, Hot 107.9 program director Jerry Smokin' B has banned Young Buck from the station's playlist.
Jay-Z's Kingdome Come has topped T.I.'s King, having the best first-week sales of any hip-hop album this year with 680,000 units sold, according to Nielsen's SoundScan.
After selling a massive amount of units its first day, early reports had Kingdome Come selling over 800,000 copies with a chance at reaching 850,000. However, weekend sales then revealed that the album was projected to sell between 700,000 and 730,000 units. Now the official reports have surfaced, Kingdome Come has nabbed the top spot on the Billboard 200 with 680,000 CDs sold.

Nothing is apparently worse than an ex-lover scorned. Such is the case with actor Darius McCrary, best known as “Eddie Winslow” on the long-running ABC sitcom ‘Family Matters.’ McCrary was the subject of a malicious e-mail circulated by someone who is suspected to be a bitter ex-girlfriend, though McCrary doesn’t even want to make any accusations about the culprit. The bogus e-mail said the popular actor of had AIDS and created a fictitious scene of how the female making the accusation discovered his illness moments before an unprotected sexual encounter, by going through his medicine cabinet after getting a headache. “I don’t want to give the person too much energy who did it, but it’s definitely a bunch of bull. It’s totally not true,” McCrary said via cell phone from Los Angeles late last week. The actor couldn’t imagine how someone could be cruel enough to fabricate such an e-mail and doesn’t believe he’s ever done anything to warrant such backlash. “Only thing I am guilty of is loving ladies! And maybe loving them too good,” offered the Walnut, Calif. native.

Nas's ex is raking her acrylics over the rapper and his wife, Kelis, in a new tell-all book, "It's No Secret." Carmen Bryan says he beat her, cheated on her, cut her child support, and then invited her for a threesome with the "Milkshake" singer, just before they married. Not that the self-described "hip-hop Helen of Troy" stayed home watching Oprah when her man was away. She found time to entertain Jay-Z and Allen Iverson while dating Nas. She claims he beat her "with a closed fist" after finding out about one fling. In turn, she "pulled out my pepper spray from my back pocket and sprayed Nas down like he was some rabid pit bull," when he cheated. Miz Bryan also claims Kelis doesn't wear deodorant, Jay-Z scrubs his butt in the shower (doesn't everyone?), and Nas once turned down a date with Beyonce because, he said, "to be honest, I can't take her breath."

Egypt's version of what happened with Foxy
Foxy called Egypt to be interviewed to clear up what she said were misconceptions about her in the press. Egypt was looking forward tospeaking with her and aiding in her clearing up thealleged unjustified reports. Foxy cancelled the interview a number oftimes before showing up but once she did arrive to the studio, she insisted on not cooperating with Egypt and Ashy by not directly answering their questions, including ignoring Ashy whenever he asked her a question, only allowing Egypt to speak to her. This caused the interview to take an unexpected turn which resulted in Egypt later asking Foxy to leave the studio.

Jay-Z celebrated his return to the game with a seemingly impossible trek: seven 30-minute concerts around the country in 24 hours. He hit up Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, and finished in Las Vegas early Sunday.
Universal Music Group is suing MySpace.com for copyright-infringement after its new Jay-Z album “Kingdom Come” was leaked on the site. The world’s largest music company seeks an injunction from future infringement and $150,000 for each unauthorized song or video posted on MySpace. The suit against MySpace and its parent company, News Corp, was filed in federal court in Los Angeles and claims the popular networking site encourages “rampant” infringement on UMG’s copyrights.

Sales of his latest disc are projected to reach 850,000 units by next week, according to HitsDailyDouble.com. Dipset's Freaky Zeeky Released From Prison, Returns To NY
Diplomats member Freaky Zeeky was released from the Durham Correctional Center in Durham, NC (November 20). Zeeky was released after serving over two years for reportedly trafficking ecstasy. He was convicted on February 5, 2004. At the time of his release, Zeeky was headed to the Raleigh, NC airport for a flight to New York City where his Dipset crew was reportedly awaiting. Zeeky is currently working on his forthcoming debut solo album. There's no word on when the album is expected to hit stores.

With his second album, Buck The World hitting stores this fall, Young Buck is also planning the launch of his own label, Cashville Records.
"50 is so much in support behind what I'm doing as far as establishing my own label Cashville Records," Buck told SOHH.com. "He's totally behind me with it cause I think what he's doing is wanting to put me in a lane to get where he got G-Unit Records out so he can fade totally away from this sh!t. I think 50 fin to just...he wants to build my label up to where G-Unit Records is at and he's through with rapping, period."

Proof's Killer Found Guilty, May Only Be Sentenced To Probation
Mario Etheridge, the man who shot and killed D12 member Proof at Detroit's C.C.C. nightclub in April, was found guilty of two weapons charges yesterday (September 20th). Etherdige, 28, was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison; and discharge of a firearm in a dwelling or occupied structure, a felony with a four-year maximum sentence. Etheridge was not charged with Proof's murder. In August, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy declined to pursue murder charges against Etheridge saying that he had acted in self-defense when he shot Proof, who had shot his cousin, Keith Bender. Etheridge's sentencing will take place on October 17. If he is sent to prison, he faces a five year maximum sentence.

"I thought that I would let this be known since there seem to be many rappers infecting unsuspecting women with sexually transmitted diseases. I have been sexually involved with rapper (NO NAMES) which is part of (BIG NAME RAPPER'S CREW) for the last two years. I have been notified today via pap smear results that I have been infected with Chlamydia by the rapper. I am putting this message out there for anyone that has been sexually active with him, other than myself, so that they are aware that he is a walking time bomb and they need to get tested immediately. I am reporting him to the Atlanta Board of Health as well as I plan to take legal action against him. No one should knowingly be spreading this type or any disease to unsuspecting people. It's unfair and painful. I will be providing his government name, telephone number, telephone records, pictures and address to the proper parties."

Man, I hope this is just a rumor but I have been hearing that Mary & Kendu are splitting up! Word is that MJB is divorcing her hubby because he's been cheating on her for a while now. What I've heard is that Mary actually act him in the act. I hope that this is really just a rumor, my girl deserves better than that!

There is going to be a spinoff of "Flavor of Love" that will feature a female from the first season that is looking for the perfect man. VH1 has approved production of 10 episodes to begin shooting at the end of this month, but the show will not air untill 2007. The female has not yet been announced but the male contestants will include rappers, lawyers, industry professional and also the unemployed.
Jay-Z is preparing to release a new single "Show Me What You Got" in October and will follow up with his comback album on November 14th. This will be Jay's first solo release since 2003's The Black Album.
Afeni Shakur postponed plans to scatter Tupac's ashes in Soweto, South Africa today. If you didn't know today marks the 10th anniversary of his death. The ceremony is now scheduled to take place June 16,2007 on Pac's 36th birthday.

Beyonce and Jay to wed in November?
Star magazine claims that Beyonce and Jay-Z will finally get married in late November. They say that the $3 million dollar ceremony will take place on the Carribbean island of Anguilla. The magazine says Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, was the lone road block to the wedding, but has recently relented and given the union his blessing.

Ne-yo responds saying, that the relationship did occur and he is no longer ashamed of saying that he was deeply in love. Reciting “That situation was what inspired me to write the song Unfaithful. But no one knew it was actually about myself, and our relationship.” He told Essence that he doesn’t care anymore, he was tired of living a lie and is ready to come clean. Quoting, “the music industry can either except me for who I am, or desert me.” The full interview with the magazine is expected to hit stands mid-October.

Rapper Lil Wayne was arrested Monday in Atlanta on charges of possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. Police claim the rapper was in possession of several unlabeled bottles — one containing 60 pills of Alprazolama, a generic form of Xanax that is used to treat anxiety disorders and panic attacks; another containing 59 hydrocodone pills — along with "two small burnt joints of marijuana." Rapper and producer Kanye West is engaged, several sources have confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively. There was a song that leaked on the internet that is rumored to be a message to Rihanna who is rumored to have a thing going with Jay (which I doubt). It is also said that it could be about Blu Cantrell (who is rumored to have been with Jay before Beyonce.

DMX's Brother In Law Caught With Crack
DMX's nanny and brother in law both appeared in court Monday (August 8) to face felony drug charges. According to Westchester's Journal News, John Darugn, whose sister is married to DMX, and Olivia Blankendal, the nanny, were found with 8 ounces of cocaine in the car they were in riding in over the weekend.

BEEF TAINTS HIP HOP MUSEUM IN NEW YORK: At issue is whether or not to include an exhibit on gangsta rap.
*If the New York City Council has its way, the world’s first hip hop museum will not include the presence of such important rap acts as NWA, Tupac Shakur or Snoop Dogg.
According to NME.com, council members and organizers are arguing over whether a section on gangsta rap should be included in the overall retrospective of hip hop and its roots in the Bronx.
