Beyonce and Jay to wed in November?
Star magazine claims that Beyonce and Jay-Z will finally get married in late November. They say that the $3 million dollar ceremony will take place on the Carribbean island of Anguilla. The magazine says Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, was the lone road block to the wedding, but has recently relented and given the union his blessing.
These rumors have been going around forever, but if it is true Congratulations!

The multi-platinum recording artist sat down for the October issue of Essence Magazine last week and announced the shocking news stating, “Yes, I am gay, and I have always been.” After several internet rumors have been circulating around the internet. He also said, “You now this world we live in is full of judgement, resulting in one of the reasons why it took me so long to come out of the closet.” Earlier this month, a man by the name of Derrick Johnson claimed that he had an intimate relationship with the singer during there teen years in high school. He also said that for months the singer and Def Jam has been trying to pay him to keep quiet over the ordeal. Worrying that it would destroy his image. Ne-yo responds saying, that the relationship did occur and he is no longer ashamed of saying that he was deeply in love. Reciting “That situation was what inspired me to write the song Unfaithful. But no one knew it was actually about myself, and our relationship.” He told Essence that he doesn’t care anymore, he was tired of living a lie and is ready to come clean. Quoting, “the music industry can either except me for who I am, or desert me.” The full interview with the magazine is expected to hit stands mid-October.

Rapper Lil Wayne was arrested Monday in Atlanta on charges of possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. Police claim the rapper was in possession of several unlabeled bottles — one containing 60 pills of Alprazolama, a generic form of Xanax that is used to treat anxiety disorders and panic attacks; another containing 59 hydrocodone pills — along with "two small burnt joints of marijuana." According to Carter's arrest report, the rapper was staying at the Twelve Hotel in Atlanta's Atlantic Station when a hotel employee entered Carter's room to inspect a problem with the room's security systems. The employee said he noticed a gallon-size bag of what he believed to be marijuana; he also told police he smelled a "heavy odor of marijuana." The hotel's manager was summoned to the room and also claimed he smelled marijuana. Carter told both men to vacate his room, shut the door and fastened the security latch. Police were called shortly thereafter.

Eve has broken up with on-again, off- again boyfriend Teodorin Nguema Obiang, son of an African dictator. One of Eve's friends says that she has now broken up with him, even as Teodorin became closer to becoming president himself. His father has prostate cancer and serious heart problems. Perhaps it was the potential father-in-law who was the turnoff. There is a petition going around to stop Cassie from releasing another record. It says... "We give her respect for trying, but her existence and presence to the music industry is becoming very annoying and pointless,” begins the document at petitiononline.com addressed to her label, Bad Boy Records. “If you don't want Bad Boy to fall off, we suggest you drop Cassie ASAP, and suggest that she audition for ‘Top Model’ or something,” the petition continues. “This chick is taking up space for true talent in the music industry.”

Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law had a sit-down with Sister 2 Sister magazine to explain her reasons for splashing the singer’s drug problem across the pages of the National Enquirer. "I had several motives behind what I did. One was because I loved her and I was tired of seeing her like that," said Tina Brown, the sister of Houston’s husband Bobby Brown and the photographer behind photos of Whitney’s “drug den” bathroom. Brown says she went public only after warning Houston that she would do so if the entertainer kept refusing treatment. Brown, who engaged in substance abuse for years alongside Houston, said she was inspired to kick her habit after witnessing how far Whitney had fallen. Bobby’s sis also claims that putting Houston on blast in the Enquirer has ultimately brought the two closer together. Brown also denies that the Enquirer paid her $200,000 to drop dime on Whitney’s drug problem. "I'm broke now, so it couldn't have been that much money," she explains to the magazine’s Jamie Foster Brown.

DMX's Brother In Law Caught With Crack
DMX's nanny and brother in law both appeared in court Monday (August 8) to face felony drug charges. According to Westchester's Journal News, John Darugn, whose sister is married to DMX, and Olivia Blankendal, the nanny, were found with 8 ounces of cocaine in the car they were in riding in over the weekend.

BEEF TAINTS HIP HOP MUSEUM IN NEW YORK: At issue is whether or not to include an exhibit on gangsta rap.
*If the New York City Council has its way, the world’s first hip hop museum will not include the presence of such important rap acts as NWA, Tupac Shakur or Snoop Dogg.
According to NME.com, council members and organizers are arguing over whether a section on gangsta rap should be included in the overall retrospective of hip hop and its roots in the Bronx.
